Job Summary:
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with specialities in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, Operating Room. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Daily tasks include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Critical to this role is strong communication and strong collaboration with patients, providers, and other members of our team. At least 2 years of experience and exceptional skill is required. Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care, including patient assessments and medication administration.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Manage case and hospice care for individuals with advancing age, frailty, and serious illness.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum of two years of hospital, home health, or hospice care experience.
- Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Driver's license, car insurance, and automobile for field work.
- Experience in specialized nursing areas such as ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, or Operating Room.
- Additional certifications relevant to specialty areas.
- Must comply with licensing requirements; compact licenses are not accepted, permanent license required.
- Candidate must not have worked perm/PRN at ATI within the last year to be eligible.
- Work environment may include hospice, acute care, or specialized nursing units.
- Day shifts with 32 hours per week during holiday weeks.
- Overtime paid at 1.5x rate as applicable.
- Weekly billing cycle.
- Parking and dress code information provided on first day.
