Description

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT-T certification and 2+ years of experience for an outpatient cancer clinic operating three Varian Truebeam linear accelerators.

Details

• Outpatient ambulatory cancer clinic setting
• Treats approximately 60-100 patients per day across 3 machines
• Uses Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerators
• Uses EPIC/Aria for EMR charting
• Team of approximately 12 therapists per shift
• M-F day shift schedule, 8a-4:30p
• Weekend rotations possible but unlikely
• Weekend on-call rotated amongst the team based on staffing needs
• Potential floating to other Radiation Therapy sites in greater Charlotte area

Requirements

• Active BLS certification
• ARRT-T (Radiotherapy Technologist) certification
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Proficiency with Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerators required
• Experience with various cancer diagnoses preferred
• Last 4 of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

• Orientation includes NEO plus 2 days of departmental orientation

• RTO subject to manager approval

• First-time travelers will be considered
• Returning employees must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position
• Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of the facility to qualify for travel rate
