Job Overview We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Financial Advisor to join our advisory practice in The Woodlands, TX. As an AFA, you will work as part of an advisory team, representing senior advisors to help clients achieve their financial goals, as well as help the team meet objectives for sales growth and client retention, providing white‑glove service that exceeds clients’ expectations. The expected pay range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 annually. This range may include a base salary plus variable compensation. Primary Job Functions Assist the Financial Advisor during client meetings and with follow‑up; take meeting notes and promptly enter into CRM. Present financial advice or plans to clients with the Financial Advisor. Meet with clients to obtain additional planning information or clarify/confirm information provided. Analyze clients’ investments, insurance policies, and financial plans. Place trades and oversee/manage tasks completed by the client service team. Prepare annual reviews: systematize the review process using the CRM system, gather data for client reviews, review client files for additional sales opportunities, and create reviews using the Wealth Enhancement Group review system. Create financial plans: analyze client data in light of their financial goals, obtain any additional planning information, prepare client information to present to the Roundtable, and work effectively and professionally with the Financial Planning department. Participate in Wealth Enhancement Group trainings, educational events, coaching programs, and be proficient in advisor/client‑facing technology. Adhere to the Wealth Enhancement Group’s Corporate Communication Strategy and remain in good compliance standing. Education & Qualifications Four‑year degree required; business, finance, or economics preferred. Two or more years of experience within the wealth management industry. Active Series 65 license. Advanced designation preferred (CFP). Able to prepare client reviews and assist in meetings with senior advisors. Possesses excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills (oral & written). Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Benefits Training and professional development.
