Create and manage comprehensive documentation sets including API guides, SDK documentation, technical reference manuals, and advanced troubleshooting content. Work independently with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, support, QA) to gather technical information and stay aligned with product development cycles. Drive documentation planning, content architecture, and updates in parallel with product releases. Review and edit documentation created by other writers to ensure quality, consistency, and clarity. Mentor junior writers, providing guidance on best practices, style, and technical accuracy. Assist in defining documentation standards, templates, and process improvements. Support localization workflows and advise on content strategy for international releases. Manage multiple documentation projects with minimal supervision and proactively identify content gaps. Take ownership of documentation deliverables and lead documentation efforts across products ensuring quality of deliverable. Will be required to utilize advanced authoring and content management tools (e.g., Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, XML-based systems).
