Team members join a practice where patient smiles and long-term oral health are a top priority. Role Description This full-time, on-site Registered Dental Hygienist role is based in Washington, MO. The hygienist will perform comprehensive dental hygiene services, including patient assessments, prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and oral health education. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing medical histories, taking and interpreting radiographs, applying preventive treatments (such as fluoride and sealants), and documenting findings in patient records. The role also involves collaborating closely with dentists and the clinical team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, promoting high standards of infection control and patient safety. The hygienist will contribute to a positive patient experience by communicating clearly, supporting patient comfort, and reinforcing home-care instructions. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong clinical skills in Dentistry and Dental Care, including knowledge of common dental procedures and treatment planning. Candidates should possess expertise in Hygiene and Dental Prophylaxis, with the ability to perform thorough cleanings and preventive services. Candidates should possess skills related to managing Periodontal Disease, including assessment, non-surgical periodontal therapy, and patient education. Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Missouri, in good standing. Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program; associate or bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene preferred. Current CPR/BLS certification and strong knowledge of infection control and OSHA standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.
