Step into an impactful contract role as a part-time virtual Occupational Therapist, supporting students across grade levels for a short-term assignment. You’ll have the flexibility to work from home while collaborating with school professionals, making a meaningful difference through specialized virtual services.

In this position, you will:

• Deliver thorough re-evaluations for students spanning multiple grade levels.
• Conduct targeted PreK evaluations on Fridays.
• Commit to at least one dedicated day per week to complete Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Oversee and supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), both during the contract and, potentially, in a limited supervisory capacity after the assignment concludes.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Hold an active Occupational Therapy license in Louisiana.
• Previous experience working in school settings and familiarity with school-based OT practices.
• Comfortable using virtual technology for teletherapy and documentation.
• Able to independently manage a part-time virtual caseload and adapt to shifting short-term priorities.
• Strong communication skills with students, families, educators, and allied professionals.

The contract begins as soon as possible and extends for one to two months, offering part-time hours and an immersive experience in virtual K-12 practice. Following the completion of the contract, continued COTA supervision may be requested on a flat-fee basis, allowing for ongoing professional engagement.
