Senior Inpatient Collections Representative

In this critical role, you'll partner closely with Clinical Resource Management to ensure clean claim delivery, tackle complex denials, and protect our client's organization's bottom line. Responsibilities

• Clean Claim & Care Reconciliation: Audit high-balance inpatient cases, verify eligibility and authorization, and collaborate with Clinical Resource Management to align clinical levels of care prior to billing.

• Denial Mitigation & Appeals: Manage, prioritize, and craft clear, effective written appeals for high-dollar claim denials and underpayments within strict carrier deadlines.

• Proactive Collections & Follow-Up: Monitor unpaid accounts via web portals and phone inquiries to resolve payment delays, secure necessary carrier documentation, and handle complex payer escalations.

• Root-Cause Analysis & Reporting: Analyze billing trends and denial drivers to recommend process improvements, update tracking systems, and educate internal teams to prevent future revenue loss.
