He should also be accountable for the development of automation scripts in Selenium java and writing SQL queries.Your Primary Responsibilities:Prepare, maintain, and execute test cases based on user stories; present results and track defects to closurePrepare, maintain, and execute automated test scriptsMaintain traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scriptsReview test cases / automation approach with stakeholder to ensure comprehensive coverage and acquire feedbackTrack test execution breakthroughs, report on issues and risks with the potential to affect project timelinesConstruct appropriate end-2-end business scenarios through the application of a broad understanding of business objectives and goalsCollaborate with delivery pipeline teams to drive adoption and resolve open issues.Identify dependencies for environmental and data requirements; manage and maintain environment and data.Provide mentorship to colleagues related to test coverage and test casesDevelop a detailed understanding of the product being deliveredResponsible for process compliance & associated documentationAligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; calls out appropriately**NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of related experience Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experienceTalents Needed for Success:Experience in Selenium Java with good hands on experienceExtensive experience with testing modern scripting language-based components.Experience in writing sophisticated SQL queries.Experience with JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and JenkinsExperienced in Agile/Waterfall, onsite/offshore work model and coordinationIn depth knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle (specifically the testing model, methodology, and processes),Experience with front-end & backend testing using Java and Selenium.Experience with JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and JenkinsDetailed understanding of smoke testing, black-box, and non-black box testing, as well as regression testingRequires the ability to work well with both business clients and technical team and the ability to work independently, both individually and as part of a team.Preferably from Capital Market domainThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
