Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days, evenings, nights Employment Type: Travel We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures in a Level I Trauma Center. Responsibilities Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor patients recovering from surgery. Assess and continuously monitor vital signs, airway, respiratory status, and pain levels. Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered. Monitor patients for complications and promptly respond to changes in condition. Provide safe patient handoff and collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and the healthcare team. Complete accurate documentation using Epic EMR . Prepare and assess preoperative patients as required. Follow infection control, safety, and patient-care protocols. Requirements Active RN license. Current BLS certification. Minimum 1 year of ICU or Emergency Department experience. Critical care experience required. Inpatient hospital experience required. Level I Trauma Center experience preferred. Epic EMR experience required. Level II Trauma experience may be considered. Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills. Quick Offer!
