Mammoth Disposal (Waste Connections) is hiring a CDL Class B Driver for local, home-daily routes in Mammoth Lakes, CA . This role is based in Mammoth, with occasional work out of our Bishop location.
Shuttle transportation from Bishop available
Employees working out of Bishop can take advantage of a company-paid shuttle that transports drivers between Bishop and Mammoth, making commuting easy and reliable.

Monday-Friday , with occasional Saturdays
Start time: 5:30 AM
8-10 hour shifts (route-based)
?? What You'll Do
Operate garbage trucks on local routes
Complete routes efficiently and safely (residential & commercial stops)
Read route sheets and follow dispatcher instructions
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Handle physical tasks (lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50+ lbs)
Provide professionalcustomer servicein local communities

Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts which require following basic safety precautions.
The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.

Valid CDL Class B with Air Brakes
Clean driving record
At least 1 year of CDL driving experience
Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor
Basic English communicationskills
