We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Dental Front Office Administrator to be the first point of contact for our patients. Title Dental Front Office Admin Job Description Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental practice management software. Communicate with patients via phone, text message, and e-mail to provide updates and answer inquiries. Explain insurance benefits, answer questions about coverage, and clarify patients’ financial responsibilities. Present treatment plans to patients clearly and professionally. Collect payments for dental services at time of visit. Submit insurance claims and follow up on pre-authorizations with insurance providers. Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth front office operations. Maintain a positive, upbeat demeanor and demonstrate exceptional customer service at all times. Collaborate respectfully with the dental team to enhance patient experience. Maintain knowledge of dental office procedures, insurance plans (PPO preferred), and software systems (Dentrix, Microsoft Office, etc.). Perform additional duties as assigned to support office efficiency and patient satisfaction. Availability to work Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM, as part of the regular schedule. Salary Range full-time $22 - $30 per hour - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. Minimum one year of experience working in a dental office environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and accept feedback. Ability to provide empathetic, straightforward customer service via phone, e-mail, and text. Preferences Dentrix Eaglesoft Open Dental Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dental software (Dentrix preferred). Basic knowledge of dental insurance plans, particularly PPO, is a plus.
