She Recruits is partnering with a rural Texas critical access hospital to recruit an Emergency Medicine Physician (or qualified FP/IM with ER experience) for a very low-volume emergency department. If you're looking for autonomy, lighter patient load, and a slower-paced environment this is that role. Compensation $150 per hour (1099) Flexible 24-hour or 48-hour shift options.

Facility Overview 14-bed hospital (surge capacity to 25) 4-bed Emergency Department ~5,655 annual ED visits ~16 visits per day Average 0.6 patients per hour 7% admission rate 11% transfer rate EMR: Epic Patient satisfaction accountability in place This is truly a low-volume, low-admit, rural emergency setting.
