Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Provide care for patients on a general medical/surgical floor, including post-operative patients requiring overnight stays
• Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry and medical-surgical nursing interventions
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN state license required
• Minimum of 2 years of previous Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience required
• At least 1 completed travel nursing contract required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• NIHSS certification required
• Valid driver's license required
• Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with EPIC EMR preferred
• Comfort with floating across units and campuses within the same discipline
