Construction Superintendent

Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 + Company Truck + Gas Card + 401(k) + Health Insurance A well-established General Contractor based in Virginia is looking to add an experienced Traveling Superintendent to its team. The company delivers a mixture of ground-up and renovation projects across the retail, restaurant, commercial, and municipal sectors . This is an excellent opportunity for a Superintendent who enjoys managing projects from the field and is comfortable traveling to projects. The Role As Traveling Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard. Responsibilities include: Managing day-to-day jobsite operations Overseeing ground-up and renovation construction projects Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel Managing project schedules and keeping work on track Reading and interpreting construction drawings Conducting regular quality and safety inspections Coordinating with Project Managers, clients, architects, and engineers Identifying and resolving jobsite issues Managing multiple trades and maintaining a productive jobsite Traveling to projects as required What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Construction Superintendent Strong background managing ground-up and/or renovation projects Experience within retail, restaurant, commercial, or municipal construction is highly desirable Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades Strong understanding of construction schedules, drawings, safety, and quality control Comfortable traveling for projects Strong communication and leadership skills Company truck Gas card 401(k) Health insurance Opportunity to join a growing General Contractor with a strong pipeline of projects #J-18808-Ljbffr Elsdon Group
