Key Responsibilities- Engage in academic medicine with a focus on teaching and research.
- Provide services at multiple locations, including Loma Linda University Medical Center and outpatient clinics.
- Participate in both inpatient and outpatient care at Riverside University Health System Medical Center in Moreno Valley.
- Collaborate with a supportive team, including nurse practitioners and administrative staff.
- Contribute to a busy consultation service and share inpatient responsibilities among physicians.
- A commitment to academic medicine and a passion for teaching.
- Willingness to provide care across various locations.
- Interest in participating in clinical trials and research initiatives.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
The Division of Rheumatology currently consists of 5.5 faculty members, with plans to expand to 9 full-time positions. We prioritize faculty development and physician wellness, offering a variety of programs such as:
- Financial planning for physicians
- Positive psychology workshops
- Clinical trial involvement
- Yoga and art classes
- Outdoor activities like hiking
Our fellowship program accommodates three fellows annually, providing weekly engagement with residents and students. We also manage several specialized centers, including those for Arthritis, Lupus, Scleroderma, and more, which facilitate research and patient care.
Benefits and Growth OpportunitiesWe offer a competitive compensation range of $300,000 to $330,000, adjusted based on experience and faculty rank. This figure represents the base salary and does not include additional variable compensation. More details will be provided during the recruitment process.
