Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in an OR setting focused exclusively on abdominal transplant procedures, including kidney, pancreas, liver, and intestinal/multi-visceral transplants
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required throughout the surgical episode of care
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records
• Participate in on-call rotations and work a minimum of 2 out of 3 major holidays as required
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as needed - floating is expected of all travelers in this role

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license - must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license application has been submitted
• Minimum 2 years of Transplant OR experience - this is a hard requirement; no exceptions
• Graduation from a nursing program accredited by the ACEN or CCNE
• SSN and date of birth required at time of submittal
• Two supervisor references required
• Must be available to work call shifts and holidays per unit requirements
• Indiana residents are considered local travelers and are eligible for this Surgical Services position; local travelers will be offered the applicable in-state rate

• Strong general OR background with demonstrated willingness to train in transplant procedures (considered for candidates who meet the 2-year OR experience threshold)
• Prior travel nursing experience, though first-time travelers with qualifying transplant experience will be considered
• Familiarity with Cerner charting platform
