.NET Tech Lead

Overview: Role: .NET Tech Lead Location: Onsite - Chicago, IL Experience Required: 8+ Years Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced .NET Tech Lead to architect, design, and deliver enterprise-grade web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership capabilities, deep expertise in the .NET ecosystem, and the ability to guide teams while remaining hands-on with development and solution design. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications using ASP.NET MVC and WebAPI .
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into robust technical solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize application performance across the full stack.
- Develop and maintain SQL Server objects, including schemas, complex queries, and stored procedures.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Implement and enforce security best practices, ensuring compliance with data protection standards.
- Research, evaluate, and adopt emerging tools, frameworks, and technologies relevant to the .NET ecosystem.
- Expert-level proficiency in:
- .NET Framework / .NET Core
- C#
- ASP.NET MVC
- WebAPI
- SQL Server (complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning)
- Strong frontend knowledge: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3 .
- Experience with Entity Framework , LINQ , and RESTful services .
- Hands-on experience with version control tools such as Git or TFS .
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and drive technical decisions.
