Fire Alarm Technician Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience installing and servicing alarm and security systems
- Knowledge of alarm system components, wiring, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with industry standards and local codes (e.g., NFPA, UL)
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- FAL, NICET preferred
- Ability to travel to job sites and attend client meetings as needed
- Install, test, and maintain alarm and security systems in residential and commercial settings
- Diagnose and repair system malfunctions and perform routine maintenance
- Complete accurate service documentation and reports
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and industry regulations
