We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at our medical facility. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage
- Collect co-pays and process payments
- Maintain patient records and update as necessary
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers or specialists
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
Skills:
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple incoming calls
- Experience with electronic medical record systems such as eClinicalWorks, Epic, or Dentrix
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry and file management
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred but not required
- Previous experience as a receptionist in a medical or dental office is a plus
