You can identify when changes are needed, suggests ideas for possible improvements, and translates ideas into practical solutions!ResponsibilitiesTasks and responsibilities correlated with this position include (but are not limited to) the following:Lead and guide clinical activities, including but not limited to patient assessments, management of care plans, home evaluations, medication management, and other patient servicesEnsure that federal, state, and local laws, as well as professional standards and principles in the nursing profession, are respected and comprehended; communicate and reinforce company policies and proceduresProvide direct supervision and support for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Home Health Aides (HHA), and Companion CaregiversCollaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and other care professionals surrounding the client, to ensure the highest quality of care is given; conduct client assessments to assess client needs, communicate needs to the family members and Touching Hearts care staffCo-conduct clinical training for Touching Hearts care staff, as mandated for compliance; assist with the development of continued education for caregiver teamsAssist with clinical and caregiver annual performance evaluationsMaintain accurate departmental and staffing records for reportingManage clinical on-call responsibilities to support Touching Hearts care staff and clients; maintain clinical teams on-call scheduleOperational tasks to further the success and support of Touching Hearts caregiving teams and clientsThis position reports to the Executive Director of Operations.Skills and QualificationsBachelor of Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing, requiredCurrent Minnesota licensure as a Registered Nurse and the ability to maintain licensure, requiredFive or more years of experience as a Director of Nursing or Nursing Field Manager, requiredValid Minnesota Driver's License and reliable vehicle, requiredProficiency using Microsoft Office and Google programs, requiredFamiliarity with Dropbox and Adobe Acrobat, preferredExperience using ClearCare, is a plusKnowledge of how to use various technology platforms, requiredClear and effective written and verbal communication, requiredKnowledgeable in using discretion with confidential information, requiredAn in-depth understanding of diverse business functions and principles, requiredSalary & Perks$70,000 - $80,000 annually This is a full-time salary, exempt position. There will be an evaluation of 90 days, to assess the mutual fit, accuracy of the job scope, and assure you have the support you need to continue your success. Both offices are collaborative, open office environments.
