RESPONSIBLE FOR: The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. They function within the framework of the organization’s policies and procedures and demonstrate professional growth and accountability. Overview Sign‑on bonus available up to $2,500. They coordinate patient‑care activities of assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care and maintain standards of practice. Qualifications Graduate of a nursing program. New graduates of a nursing program eligible. Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required. For PRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.
