Quick Facts: Location: 810 12th Street, Hood River, OR 97031 Start Date: 08/29/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing Shift: 8 AM – 5 PM (3 days/week: Wednesday–Friday) Hours/week: 24 hours (3 days x 8 hours) Employment Type: Locum, 6-month contract with possibility of extension License/Certifications: Active Oregon license, DEA, BLS, ACLS, Board Certified in Cardiology Experience: 2+ years in outpatient cardiology settings preferred Pay & Benefits: Competitive pay hourly rate of $1.00/hr (based on provided data) Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program and dedicated support team What You’ll Do: Provide outpatient cardiology services, including supervising echo and nuclear exercise stress tests Sign off on cardiac device checks and interpret EKGs Manage and coordinate outpatient testing and procedures in clinic and hospital settings Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care Document patient interactions thoroughly and accurately in EMR Sign off on outpatient procedures and supervise testing performed by technicians What You Need: Active Oregon medical license & DEA certification BLS & ACLS certifications Minimum of 2 years outpatient cardiology experience Ability to interpret EKGs and sign off on cardiac device checks Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation About the Assignment: This outpatient cardiology locums role in Hood River, OR, provides a daytime schedule with a focus on supervising diagnostic testing, interpreting results, and managing patient care within a leading facility.
