Pay Rate: $ 2,700 To $ 2,872 per week

Schedule: Day Shift | 7:00 AM 5:30 PM | 4 x 10-Hour Shifts

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Cath Lab for a 13-week contract opportunity in Carbondale, Illinois. The Cath Lab RN will provide specialized nursing support during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures while monitoring patient condition and administering moderate sedation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and continuous patient monitoring before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.

• Administer and monitor moderate sedation in accordance with established clinical protocols and patient-care standards.

• Assist with procedure-room setup, equipment preparation, sterile workflow, and room breakdown following procedures.

• Support procedures including left and right heart catheterization, peripheral interventions, carotid stents, AAA procedures, TAVR, and cardiac device implants.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic and participate in required weekday and weekend on-call coverage.

Requirements

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License Required.

• Minimum 2 Years of Cardiac Cath Lab Nursing Experience Required.

• Current BLS/BCLS Certification Required.

• Experience With Moderate Sedation and Hemodynamic Patient Monitoring Required.

• Experience Supporting Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Procedures Required; Must Be Available for Assigned Call Rotation.

The Cardiac Cath Lab RN will provide skilled, responsive, and patient-centered cardiovascular nursing care while supporting safe and efficient interventional procedures.
