As a Medical Assistant, you'll play an essential role in creating an outstanding patient experience while supporting our physicians and clinical team in delivering high-quality women's healthcare. Responsibilities What You'll Do Welcome patients with professionalism, compassion, and exceptional customer service. Obtain patient health histories and accurately document information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Prepare exam rooms to ensure they are clean, organized, and ready for patient visits. Perform vital signs and preliminary clinical assessments. Prepare patients and equipment for examinations, procedures, and treatments. Administer injections and perform phlebotomy as needed. Accurately document patient visits, medications, laboratory requests, diagnostic testing, and patient education. Provide medical scribe support when needed. Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations and procedures. Collaborate with teammates to ensure efficient clinic flow and an exceptional patient experience. Help foster a positive, supportive, and team-oriented culture focused on outstanding patient care. Qualifications What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about women's health. Experience working in a medical office and/or graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and medical terminology is required. Athena experience helpful. One or more years of experience in a medical office is preferred. Previous OB/GYN experience is strongly preferred. Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification is preferred. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment.
