Make a meaningful impact by supporting students and staff throughout the academic year in a dynamic contract position. We are seeking dedicated professionals skilled in school psychology to provide comprehensive services within a collaborative educational environment.
Your expertise will benefit two school communities: a middle school with 123 students with IEPs and an elementary school serving 102 students with IEPs. As an integral part of the support team, you will play a crucial role in helping students thrive both academically and emotionally.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure in school psychology
- Experience working with K–8 student populations and IEP processes
- Strong understanding of special education law and evaluation techniques
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to varied learning needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Develop, revise, and help implement IEPs
- Deliver counseling and consultative services to students and families
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and offer expertise on educational planning
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom interventions
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
Role Details:
- Work at two assigned schools—one position at each campus
- Standard schedule: 8:10 a.m.–3:10 p.m., Monday through Friday
