Seasonal Travel RN – PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)

Contract | Travel | Days | 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from procedures including Cath Lab ablations, TAVRs, cardioversions, TEE, interventional radiology procedures, and MRI with anesthesia
• Monitor and manage patients at a 1:2–4 nurse-to-patient ratio in an 11-bed ACU/PACU unit
• Utilize EKG monitoring and pacemaker interrogator equipment to assess and respond to patient needs
• Perform groin watch monitoring and pre- and post-procedure patient assessments
• Collaborate with a fast-paced team including charge nurses and fellow RNs to ensure safe, efficient patient throughput
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital PACU experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pre- and post-procedure nursing experience
• Experience with EKG interpretation and groin watch monitoring
• Comfort working in a high-acuity, fast-paced procedural environment
