Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist, you help patients get well by assessing patient needs, developing recovery plans, and delivering physical therapy. You design programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and train patients and caregivers to promote independence and productivity. You adapt to each patient’s needs and collaborate with peers while making referrals to ensure comprehensive care. Key responsibilities include: Assessing patient needs and developing individualized treatment plans. Delivering physical therapy interventions in a variety of settings. Teaching patients and caregivers proper techniques and exercises. Documenting progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility. Master’s degree in Physical Therapy, or a Master’s degree in a related field plus a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy with at least 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience. For Physical Therapy degrees earned outside the U.S., the degree must be evaluated as the U.S. equivalent. Compensation Posted salary range: USD $39.00 – $50.00 per hour.
