Assistant Project Manager - Construction (GC) - New York

Location: New York, NY (In-Office) Type: Full-Time We are a New York-based General Contractor seeking a highly organized Assistant Project Manager to oversee multiple projects and handle critical project documentation and follow-ups. Responsibilities / Assist In Manage projects from start to finish Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and schedules Prepare meeting minutes, weekly progress reports, RFIs, submittals, and change orders Track project budgets, timelines, and deliverables Follow up on outstanding paperwork, insurance, and compliance documents Assist in communications between office, field, and clients Requirements 3+ years construction project management experience Strong organization and follow-up skills Experience with drawings, RFIs, and submittals Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience in Procore Preferred NYC GC experience preferred What We’re Looking For Someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and strong on paperwork + coordination — not just field management.
