About the Position

Role: Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: New York
Assignment Type: Contract / Travel
Shift: 4x10 Variable Shifts
Patient Population: Adult & Geriatric
EMR System: EPIC

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the  Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Monitor and manage patients during procedures and recovery
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation using  EPIC EMR
• Float to  Electrophysiology Lab or Pod D Recovery as required

Requirements

• Active  New York RN License (must be currently active)
• Minimum 1+ year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1
• Floating: Possible to Electrophysiology Lab and recovery units
• Local Candidates: Accepted (adjusted pay rate applies)
• STEMI / CODE MI interventions
• PTCA (Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty)
• Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterizations
• Structural Heart Procedures
• Femoral and radial access
• Use of advanced cardiac support devices:
  - Balloon Pump (IABP)
  - Impella
• Atherectomy, IVUS, and closure devices
