E-Commerce Parts Specialist

We need a rock star who can help customers with pre-sales questions on live chat, through email and sometimes on the phone. You'll be there for them after the sale too, on returns and core charge refunds, and learn e-commerce auto parts from the ground up. We'll train.

This is a long-term career opportunity that isn't likely to come around again.

What You Will Do

• Customer service focused. You're the first line before and after the sale, and a fast and professional response is what helps us to grow.
• Quote and sell. Work pre-sales questions, build quotes and follow up until they close.
• Lookup parts. Get the VIN, catalog and diagram, and confirm fitment before the order ships.
• Fast processing is the point. Jump in and advocate for the customer. Make certain that orders are shipping, flag problems to e-commerce management and keep the customer posted.
• Handle exceptions. Returns, core charge refunds, cancellations, damaged or lost shipments. In time you'll work order fulfillment and shipping as well.

Skills Needed

• A true friend to the customer. You own the customer's problem and follow up without being asked.
• Fast accurate typing. Most of this job happens in text - live chat and email mostly.
• Strong on the phone. You sound like someone people want to buy from when customers do call us.
• High volume. You keep dozens of orders moving at once without losing track, because delays cost us customers and a larger freight bill.
• Takes ownership. Give you responsibilities and it's handled. Nobody has to watch you; you'll get it done.

Bonus Points

• Parts knowledge. GM or Chevrolet experience preferred but we'll train the right candidate.
• Bilingual. English and Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Shipping experience. Packing, freight and international shipping to Europe and Australia.
• Wrench time. Hands on repair experience helps you talk to the installer on the other end of the chat.
