Experienced Accountant Opportunity with Flexible Hours | Must Have Public Accounting Experience! Salary: $60,000 - $85,000 per year Job Details We are a family‑owned firm that provides tax, accounting, and business support services. We seek a Permanent Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team in a role that manages all aspects of the company’s tax obligations and compliance. Responsibilities Preparing and submitting accurate tax returns for the company, ensuring all data is correct and up‑to‑date. Conducting regular tax audits and creating reports on the company’s financial status. Researching and understanding the latest tax laws and regulations, and applying this knowledge to the company’s financial practices. Developing and implementing effective tax strategies to minimize our tax liability and maximize profits. Collaborating with other departments to gather necessary financial information and provide expert advice on tax‑related matters. Resolving any tax‑related issues or discrepancies promptly and professionally. Maintaining accurate and organized financial records, and ensuring all tax documentation is compliant with laws and regulations. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly desirable. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in an accounting role with a focus on tax management. Extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations. Proficiency in tax software and other accounting tools. Exceptional analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify discrepancies in financial data. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
