A retail pharmacy in Columbia, MO, is seeking a per diem Staff Pharmacist to provide essential pharmacy services during coverage periods from July through October. This position offers an opportunity to support a busy pharmacy team, including two full-time pharmacy technicians, while utilizing the Pioneer software system. Candidates will play a vital role in delivering quality patient care through accurate prescription dispensing and counseling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel patients on medication usage and safety
• Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions
• Perform final verification of medications prior to dispensing
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth pharmacy operations

Schedule Highlights:

• Saturday, July 18: 8:45 am - 2:15 pm (with potential early training days)
• Monday, July 27: 7:30 am - 6:15 pm
• Friday, August 21: 7:30 am - 6:15 pm
• Saturday, August 22: 8:45 am - 2:15 pm
• Tuesday, September 8 to Wednesday, September 9: 7:30 am - 6:15 pm
• Saturday, October 3: 8:45 am - 2:15 pm
• Monday, October 5 to Wednesday, October 7: 7:30 am - 6:15 pm

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Missouri Pharmacist License
• Recent pharmacist experience preferred
• Open to new graduates eager to gain hands-on retail pharmacy experience
