Program ManagerBAE Systems is hiring a Program Manager to support our Weapons Systems division. This role will support the Virginia Payload Module (VPM) Programs as a critical demand to support the US Navy. If you have program management experience and supporting the US Military runs in your core, this role may be the perfect fit. This Program Manager role is located at our Louisville branch in the beautiful state of Kentucky. Here you will work with a diverse cross-functional team for the management and execution of the VPM Programs. You will be expected to help manage cost and schedule performance, risk and opportunity management, and support future business through proposal development and negotiation. You will collaborate with cross-functional leadership to ensure program success for timely delivery of critical components to support our US Navy. It is anticipated that this role will require up to 25% domestic travel to support program related meetings, customer engagements, and potential training events.Required Education, Experience, & SkillsBachelor's Degree in related field and 8 years of Program Management or equivalent experienceUnderstanding and execution in the development of managing budgets and schedules to drive performanceFirm understanding of Earned Value Management and best practicesUnderstanding of Integrated Master Schedule development and operationsExperience in working with US Government contractsDemonstrated leadership skills working within a matrixed organization across functional boundariesStrength and experience in planning and organizationPreferred Education, Experience, & SkillsMBA or Master's Degree relevant to program management and 10+ yrs experienceSecurity ClearancePMP CertificationExperience in leading complex programsExperience in working projects for the US MilitaryExperience working in a production environmentExcellent communication skills with experience in communicating with senior leadership internally and externallyExperience in engineering, finance, and/or contracts managementDemonstrated track record of driving and supporting achievement of financial, schedule, and technical objectives on prior projectsPay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $136000 - $231200 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
