Job Description
Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine

Schedule:
Full-Time, Days | Monday - Friday, with volunteer Saturdays. Shifts rotate weekly between 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM and 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited program
- 2 years of relevant experience in nuclear medicine
- Cardiac experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer
- Certification as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT-N) or by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist.
- Conduct procedures for both ambulatory and hospital patients.
- Follow established protocols for diagnosing disease and injury as requested by a physician or licensed provider.
- Ensure compliance with safety and clinical standards throughout the process.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to procedures performed.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in nuclear medicine technology.
