Coverage Needs :
- Need ASAP - Ongoing for 6+ months
- Must be able to cover 5+ shifts per month
Shifts:
- Mon-Wed: 7a-5p, 10a-8p, 3p-1a, 4p-12a, and 8p-7a
- Thurs - Sun: 7a-5p, 10a-9p, 4p-2a, and 8p-7a
Setting:
- Full-service acute-care regional hospital
- Handles general trauma and stabilization
- Severe trauma sent to Rapides
Census:
- 42 ED beds
- 49.5k annual volume
- Average 135 ED patients per day
- 30% EMS
- 22% ADMITTED PATIENTS
Support Staff:
- NPPA coverage 46 hrs Mon-Fri & 36 hrs Sat-Sun
- Scribe coverage 10 hrs/day
- Most specialties on site for backup
Procedures:
- All Standard ER procedures
EMR:
- EPIC
Board Certification:
- Board Certified Required
Travel:
- Hospital will cover
Credentialing timeline:
- Will take 90 days
Requirements:
- Active LA state license
- Active DEA and CDS in LA or willing to transfer
- ATLS, ACLS
