A well-established boutique law firm in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced Corporate Transactional Attorney for a contract position with the potential to become permanent.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with three or more years of corporate transactional experience who is interested in joining a boutique firm and initially supporting one of the firm's partners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate transactional matters, with M&A experience a big plus.

Responsibilities:

• Support one of the firm's partners on a variety of corporate transactional matters
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions and other business transactions
• Draft, review, and revise corporate and transactional documents
• Conduct legal research and due diligence
• Work closely with attorneys and clients throughout the transaction process

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• 3+ years of corporate transactional experience
• Solid experience handling corporate and business transactions
• M&A experience is a plus!
• Excellent drafting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Keen eye for detail and top-level organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while effectively supporting a partner and legal team
