We are looking for people who are curious and innovative, excited to experiment with new tools, and passionate about using technology to drive our company forward.Position OverviewFlexible Schedule: This position is Monday through Friday, with flexible start times between 6-9am and end times between 3-6pm. Corporate office hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm. - Flexibility to work additional hours may be required to meet company/project needs.On-Site Requirement: This position requires physical presence at our corporate office during office hours.Compensation Package– $82,000 to $100,000 / year**The above compensation is a range. Employer pays 85% of employee's premium.401k contribution opportunity with an annual company match.Paid sick leave accrual equivalent to 1.33 hours for every 30 hours worked (~11 days per year).Paid vacation starting at three weeks and increasing with tenure.13 paid holidays, including 2 personal holidays of your choice.Comprehensive training programs and development opportunities.What We're Looking ForAssociate's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field required.At least 3 years of relevant HR experience, ideally in a company of 100+ employees.Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations for multi-state employers preferred, including Washington and California.Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations in a similar setting.Experience with HRIS systems is preferred.Experience supporting a workforce of 200+ employees preferred.SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification preferred.Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.Proficient in effective communication and teamwork.Maintains a positive outlook and embraces a collaborative team approach.Shows responsibility and takes pride in their work.Fluent in English, with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.Your RoleEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain required HR records and postings.Support recruiting, including screening, interviews, scheduling, candidate follow-up, and hiring events.Support corporate onboarding, orientation, pre-employment requirements, offer letters, and new hire training.Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, life events, terminations, open enrollment, and employee questions.Support benefits compliance, carrier coordination, invoice reconciliation, and required reporting.Assist with compensation administration, market research, salary surveys, pay scales, and job descriptions.Support employee relations, investigations, corrective actions, PIPs, terminations, and performance evaluations.Administer leaves of absence and workplace accommodations, including ADA interactive processes.Manage unemployment and workers' compensation claims, including reporting and return-to-work coordination.Mentor junior HR staff and support employee engagement, organizational development, and HR initiatives.The responsibilities above are not all-inclusive.Our Mission & CultureAt American Capital Group, "Our mission is to be an innovator and leader in multifamily housing solutions."
