Quality Control Inspector 1st Shift - Sign On Bonus

QC InspectorIn this role you will perform documented inspections in the verification of conformance of parts to applicable drawings, procedures, specifications and all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. The QC Inspector is responsible for the content of the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and project quality plan according to customer's and Flowserve's specifications and international standards. Besides, the QC Inspector is responsible for defining, advising and controlling all project required QC documents. The QC Inspector reports directly to the QC Supervisor/Manager.$2,500 Sign-On Bonus for new hires on this req. Responsibilities:Documenting dimensional and visual inspections to the drawing or applicable proceduresDocumenting non-conforming material utilizing an NCR (nonconforming materials) processReviewing and verify internal and external qualifications of suppliers, welders, NDE personnel with regard to Non-Destructive Examinations (NDE), welding procedures and/or other applicable requirements.Reviewing and approve supplier's manufacturing and testing documents/procedures and to take care for approval (when required) of these documents by the customer, his customer and the authorized inspection bodyPreparing and define test and inspection requirements for the required projects such as ITP and procurement specificationsAlso other duties assignedRequirements:HS Diploma / GED and 3-5 years relevant experiencePrecision Measuring Tool experienceAbility to read BlueprintsMust have knowledge of inspection equipment generally found in machining, assembly and test operationsFlexible, eager to learn, accurate, analytical with positive, can-do attitudeGood interpersonal, communication, negotiation, analytical and presentation skillsProblem solving skillsOperational Excellence & High Level of Customer Service StandardPreferred:Effective utilization of CMMs is a plusMetrology experienceKnowledge of welding, NDE and quality systemsKnowledge of the established quality standards, laws and regulations of national and international authoritiesFlowserve offers competitive pay, annual bonuses, medical benefits on day 1, generous paid vacation time, paid holidays, 401(k) and many other excellent benefits!
