Vascular Neurology Physician - Comprehensive Stroke Program - Mount Sinai Brooklyn, NY

Description The Department of Neurology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is recruiting a vascular neurologist for its Comprehensive Stroke Program at Mount Sinai Brooklyn. The program is one of the busiest stroke centers in the Northeast and offers a robust clinical research enterprise, including participation in NIH‑funded StrokeNet. Candidates will join a multidisciplinary team and be located primarily at Mount Sinai Brooklyn, with occasional assignments at other health system sites. Responsibilities Provide clinical care in the Stroke Program, including the Inpatient Stroke Teaching Service, Stroke Consult Service, Outpatient Stroke Clinic, and Telestroke Program. Collaborate with colleagues as an integral part of a health system. Participate in educational and research activities supported by the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Engage in career development opportunities within the program. Qualifications Medical Degree from an accredited university. New York Medical License. Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology. Completed ACGME fellowship training in Vascular Neurology, or equivalent. Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities served. Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary setting. Strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team‑oriented, performance‑driven health system. Compensation Competitive salary and benefits are offered, including paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and malpractice coverage. The compensation range for an Assistant Professor is $240,000 to $300,000, for an Associate Professor is $270,000 to $350,000, and for a Professor is $300,000 to $400,000. Salaries depend on experience and qualifications; bonuses and incentive compensation are not included.
