Accounting Analyst

Overview Our client is seeking an Accounting Analyst to support financial reporting, accounting activities, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across multiple operating units. This is a full‑time, in‑office position responsible for maintaining accurate financial data and providing analytical support used in decision‑making. As Accounting Analyst, you will contribute to month‑end close processes, prepare and analyze financial and capital‑related reports, support forecasting and variance analysis, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate classification and reporting of financial information. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries, including depreciation, asset transfers, and dispositions Maintain accurate records and calculations for fixed assets and related accounts Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts during the month‑end close process Prepare and analyze financial and capital expenditure reports Support budgeting, forecasting, and budget‑to‑actual variance analysis Track, review, and classify construction‑in‑progress and project‑related costs Collaborate with internal teams to gather, review, and validate financial data Assist with audit schedules and provide documentation as requested Identify opportunities to improve accounting and financial reporting processes Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, audit, or a related role GPA of 3.0 or higher Advanced Excel skills with experience working with large datasets Solid understanding of accounting and financial principles Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management Experience working with accounting or financial reporting systems is preferred At our client’s request, only individuals with required experience will be considered. #J-18808-Ljbffr
