Position We are actively seeking an Electrical Estimator in the Raleigh, NC area to join our award‑winning team. Determine total costs for projects. Prepare bids and proposals. Choose appropriate materials, verify prices, check contractors, and calculate profits on a given project. Utilize effective communication skills to communicate with project managers, customers, and other associates. Meet with contractors, builders, owners, and engineers on the jobs to bid. Work with Project Managers to create change orders on projects currently under contract as needed. Assist in setting up budget on contract jobs. Estimator Experience and Qualification Requirements (5+) years estimating experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam. Experience with Accubid software is a plus. Computerized/Digital takeoff. Basic knowledge of current means and methods of electrical installations. (1+) years of field experience with electrical installations is a plus. Strong computerized estimating skills. Experience with conceptual estimating, low voltage systems estimating, and design/build estimating is a plus. Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications. Familiarity with the NEC. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to work independently at times. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and the ability to multi‑task. Willing to learn and be a part of a team. Positive attitude and a team player.
