Junior Engineer

Piper Companies is looking for a Junior Engineer to join a government contractor in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD . This role requires the candidate to report onsite and have an active Secret Clearance Essential Duties of the Junior Engineer : Perform engineering and analysis of military sales requirements Analyze contract technical deliverables for adequacy and completeness for military programs, including system design documents, test plan and report documentation, operator and maintenance technical manuals, training documentation and materials Conduct market research and analyze market research results Assess configuration management of assigned equipment Qualifications of the Junior Engineer : Bachelor's degree in engineering is required 2-5+ years professional engineering experience Previous experience supporting the U.S. Army, Department of Defense (DoD) highly desired Experience with technical writing and training Compensation for the Junior Engineer : $85,000 - $95,000 (based on experience) Comprehensive benefit package; Cigna Medical, Cigna Dental, Vision, 401k w/ ADP, PTO, paid holidays, sick Leave as required by law This job opens for applications on 6/11/25.
