Church Worship Internship

Internship Program:A Grace Church Internship is for those who have completed one year of college or its equivalent. Within a specific area of ministry, interns will be given ministry responsibilities, receive weekly coaching and mentorship from their supervisor, and leadership and spiritual development from the Senior Pastor and others. You can learn more about our Internship Program at HERE.Program Dates: Late May – Early AugustHourly Rate: $11/hour; Paid Bi-WeeklyWeekly Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; Sunday 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM; 3 Flex hours/ and Ministry Special EventsJob SummaryOur worship arts ministry at Grace is full of creativity, passion, and talent. Through participating in weekend worship planning, this intern will also research music, schedule volunteers, and learn how worship is led at a multi-site campus. They will get a well-rounded view of worship while leading at Grace Students, weekend services, and other events. If connecting to Jesus through music gets you excited, then this is the internship for you. We will be hiring interns for all three of our campuses.Responsibilities/Duties:Recruit and schedule a group of musicians/production team membersLearn the Production side of worshipParticipate in weekend worship planningLead worship during the weekend and Wednesday night student ministryLead worship and assist in filming for various ministry needsLearn basics of AVL systems by volunteering on off stage weeksLearn audition management and processGrow in skill (vocals, guitar, piano, etc.)Lead and execute a team worship/community nightPrepare setlistsAttend weekly service review meetingsParticipate in weekend worship filmingResearch music and add new songs to the database as neededSkills/Experience:Volunteer experience in WorshipHigh School Diploma and at least one year of college or its equivalentExperience and passion for church and the communityMotivated to learn and leadGreat relational skills: full of faith, friendly, calm, and professionalExhibit a heart of passion, humility, and integrityGood organizational and administrative skillsSkilled in researching and finding requested informationExpectations:Accept and support the Grace Church Vision and ValuesExhibit a servant’s heart and willingness to get the job done well and on timeEnsure good stewardship of ministry funds and resourcesAct as a positive representative of Grace Church at all timesMaintain complete confidentiality with all sensitive pieces of informationCommunicate and present information to others in a clear, complete and concise wayHave a good sense of humor and ability to have fun while working hard as part of a teamExhibit a heart of passion, humility, integrityMaintain a positive attitude while being mission-driven #J-18808-Ljbffr
