As a key member of our Nutritional Services department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our foodservice department, ensuring the highest quality of food, safety standards, and client satisfaction. If you have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.About the Role:Responsible for managing the foodservice department, ensuring compliance with facility policies and procedures, and federal/state regulationsProvides leadership and guidance to a team of foodservice personnel to ensure high-quality food, safety standards, and client satisfactionMaintains records of department personnel, income and expenditures, food, supplies, inventory levels, and equipmentParticipates in menu planning, inspects meals, and ensures that standards for appearance, palatability, temperature, and serving times are metJob Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to motivate, coach, and supervise foodservice personnelIntermediate computer skills and mathematical/numerical skillsOrganizational skills and attention to detailCurrent awareness of legislation and regulations influencing the practice of standards of careResponsibilities/Accountabilities:Puts customer service first, ensuring that residents/patients and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphereMaintains resident/patient confidentialityAbides by established schedule to assigned facilitiesProcesses new diet orders and diet changes, and keeps diet cards updatedCompletes the assigned MDS section according to required timelineReviews and develops dietary plans in cooperation with RD and physicians' ordersAdditional Requirements:Graduate of Dietary Manager's Program or 2-yr/4-yr foodservice programSuccessful completion of Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)Two years' experience in foodservice managementPrior experience in healthcare foodservice preferredPhysical Demands/Working Conditions:Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishMust provide verification of TST (tuberculin skin test) as required by state law and in accordance with Company policyHow to Apply:If you are a motivated and experienced Dietary Manager looking for a new challenge, please apply to this role by submitting your application.
