Description: Shift Days: Sunday-Saturday Shift Hours: 19:00-07:30 Ratios: Not Applicable Patient Age Group: Not Applicable No first-time travelers. Local candidates accepted. Float required. Weekend coverage required. Skills required include: Accessing and managing ports Arterial line management Bariatric surgery BIPAP and CPAP management Blood product administration Cardiac telemetry Care of ventilated patients Central line care and management Chest tube management Continuous bladder irrigation CVA management Epidural analgesia Feeding tube care and management Heparin protocols High flow nasal cannula management Interpretation of arterial blood gases Management of dysrhythmias Monitoring telemetry patients Phlebotomy PICC line management Post cardiac angiogram care Pre and post cardiac cath management Procedural sedation administration and monitoring Seizure disorder management Starting and maintaining IVs Telemetry monitoring Titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips Tracheostomy care and management Interdisciplinary support includes: IV teams Physical therapy Respiratory services Social services Transportation services Unit secretary support All candidates must provide two supervisor references when applying. Return staff must be gone for a minimum of one year to reapply. The manager may or may not conduct an interview. Modules required for onboarding and annual training will vary by specialty.
