Director, Patient Access & Services

A growing commercial-stage biotechnology company is seeking an experienced Patient Services leader to build and optimize patient access programs supporting current and future product launches. This highly visible leadership role will be responsible for designing and executing patient support strategies that improve access to therapy, reduce barriers to treatment, and drive successful conversion from prescription to therapy initiation. Key Responsibilities Lead patient access strategy, including hub services, reimbursement, and affordability programs. Optimize patient access infrastructure to improve therapy initiation and reduce abandonment. Manage external vendors and drive performance against key access and conversion metrics. Analyze patient journey data to identify barriers and improve outcomes. Partner cross-functionally to support launch readiness and commercial objectives. Provide expertise in patient access, reimbursement, specialty pharmacy, and hub operations. Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and industry requirements. Qualifications 10+ years of experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty pharmacy, patient access, reimbursement, or patient services functions. Demonstrated experience supporting commercial product launches and building or optimizing patient access infrastructure. Strong understanding of reimbursement pathways, specialty pharmacy, prior authorization processes, affordability programs, and hub services. Experience managing external vendors and measuring performance through operational and patient access metrics. Track record of improving therapy initiation, access, conversion, and overall patient experience. Strong analytical, strategic, and cross-functional leadership skills.
