Instrumentation & Electrical TechnicianTexas City, TX, United States | req31110What you will enjoy doing:Provide planning and onsite support with a strong focus on critical safety systems and system reliabilityAssist in installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation and control systemsPerform calibrations, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations of instrumentation to ensure accurate and reliable performanceTake responsibility for preparing and maintaining documentation such as work orders, service reports, and calibration records while executing required administrative tasksTroubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain pneumatic and electronic process control instrumentation, including predictive program instrumentation with full repair history documentationUtilize control logic drawings to troubleshoot complex process control systems and support continuous improvement of reliabilityWhat makes you great:High School Diploma (or equivalent) and at least five years of experience in process control instrumentationStrong proficiency with electrical/instrumentation tools, meters, calibration equipment, and a solid understanding of electricity, electrical systems, and motorsRead and interpret P&IDs and schematic wiring diagrams while applying strong planning and organizational skillsStrong computer skills and clear written and verbal communication to support reporting and collaborationPerform maintenance and minor repairs on low-voltage electrical systems, calibrate process analytical equipment, and troubleshoot control valves and electronic control systemsMeet physical requirements, including confined space entry, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working at heightsMaintain flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and respond to call-ins as neededEnsure a reliable, safety-focused presence during critical operational periodsWhy you will love working with us:Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2024 sales of $33 billion.
