About the Position

LDRP RN Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery 13 weeks Night Shift 3x12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00) Minimum of 1 year experience required Compact license must be in hand at submission Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRPS Must-Have: NICU or LDRP experience required Charge experience preferred Experience with Epic charting system required Description: Block schedule for first timers. Position may float between units. On-call required during low census periods. Weekends required every other weekend. Expected patient ratios: 1:1-2 for labor and 1:3-4 for postpartum couplets. Candidates must have labor and postpartum experience. Daily census of approximately 10 patients. Unit primarily serves neonates, adolescents, infants, and adults. Comprehensive interdisciplinary support available, including therapy and social services. Requires knowledge of special procedures related to labor, delivery, and postpartum care. Candidates may float between sister facilities as needed. Refusal to float may result in the termination of assignment. Ability to work three of the five major holidays required. References covering one year of work experience needed prior to start.
