Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive screenings, evaluations, and treatments for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans to promote functional progress
• Document services in compliance with regulations and facility standards, ensuring quality and continuity of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families to achieve therapeutic goals
• Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols, creating a safe healing environment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program (Master's degree)
• Current Nevada state SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY eligibility
• Previous trach vent unit experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and clinical problem-solving skills to adapt to patient needs

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in speech, language, and swallowing therapy techniques
• Skilled in patient evaluation and treatment planning
• Experience with screenings and documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team
• Committed to infection control and patient safety
• Excellent communication and clinical reasoning abilities
