Environmental Engineer

Leading air permitting and environmental compliance for edge and large-scale data center projects, the full-time Environmental Engineer will manage regulatory permitting processes, ensure compliance with environmental regulations, and oversee third-party consultants while working in a virtual environment. Key responsibilities Manage air permitting processes for data center facilities, including permits for backup generators and related emission sources Prepare and submit permit applications to state and federal agencies, tracking them through approval Ensure ongoing compliance with air, water, and waste regulations throughout the project lifecycle Required qualifications Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering or related field 10+ years of environmental compliance experience, ideally in energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure Demonstrated air permitting expertise, with familiarity in Title V, minor source, and PSD/NSR Working knowledge of state and federal waste, water, and air regulations Field experience supporting operations and compliance
